MARK BENEVOLENT FUND WALK SWEEPSTAKE WINNER ANNOUNCED |

| Those who attended the Provincial meeting at Southport on 3rd May will remember the Sweepstake which was being promoted as a fund raiser for the Mark Benevolent Fund Walk held in London on the 6th May. | |
| The sweepstake raised £132.00 with times being sold in one minute slots. | |
| The time taken for the 6 team members to complete the walk was 3 hours 7 minutes and 43 seconds. | |
| I am pleased to announce that the winner was Bro. Stephen Hallam of Leyland Mark Lodge No. 1002 who takes the prize of £75.00 for having correctly guessed the time of 3 hours 7 minutes. | |
| The unlucky runner up, with 3 hours 8 minutes, was V.W.Bro. Michael Southworth P.G.J.O. of Jubilee Mark Lodge No. 375. | |
| On behalf of the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Keith Beardmore and all the team who took part in the walk may I thank all you who supported the sweepstake which has contributed a further £57.00 to the donation from West Lancashire Mark Province. | |
| The current total raised from all Provinces for the MBF Walk stands at £379,566.01 which is a magnificent amount with still more donations to be recorded. | |
